Brussels, October 8, 2014 –– Allnex, one of the leaders in UV/EB Curable Resins, is introducing a new waterbased energy curable polyurethane dispersion for furniture applications. It will be presented for the first time at the upcoming PRA International Wood Coatings Congress in Amsterdam.
Waterbased energy curable polymers serve high-end applications characterized by favorable productivity and lower environmental footprint. Unlike conventional waterbased polymers, they are clearly taking advantage of the distinctive film formation and energy curing steps leading to cured coatings combining superior optical & mechanical properties.
This new energy curable polyurethane dispersion has been developed to deliver high gloss mirror effect coatings through a single-coat application on primed substrates.
