FLEXOPUNCH AC-206 is a transfer additive for acrylic-based aqueous flexographic inks. FLEXOPUNCH AC-206 additive has been found to give the greatest amount of color transfer, across the broadest range of pigmentations, with the most consistent increase in transfer. Additions of 1-2% of FLEXOPUNCH AC-206, with subsequent water or varnish cuts, allows for as much as 10-20% cost savings in the manufacture of water-based flexographic inks or coatings. These low use levels eliminate the undesirable conditions of flinging and misting that are frequently observed with higher use levels required by other solution and emulsion-type transfer agents. FLEXOPUNCH AC-206 additive should be used as a post additive with the letdown or extension vehicle. Only proper water dilution and viscosity adjustments are necessary to determine maximum economy and maintain established color standards.
