2nd generation soft touch

Soft touch coatings provide a warm, silky, velvet and elastic feel for “cold” plastic materials used in computers, tablets, mobile phones as well as games, pens, handheld tools, cosmetic packaging and auto interiors. Our UV curable Soft Touch EBECRYL® 8896 (soft feel oligomer) and EBECRYL® 8894 (performance promoter) allows you to formulate different haptics, from velvet to rubbery feelings.

2nd generation soft touch

Low temperature cure enabling crosslinker

CYMEL® XW 3106 crosslinking resin is an ultra-low free formaldehyde melamine resin formulated specifically for 2k solvent-borne ambient cure or low bake systems in which low temperature cure (<100C) characteristics are desired. It is an alternative to isocyanate-based systems and is ideal for temperature sensitive substrates such as plastics, consumer electronics and low bake industrial metals.
