allnex provides an industry leading portfolio of water and solvent-based PHENODUR® phenolic crosslinkers used in high performance general metal and packaging applications. This portfolio offers a range of compositions, binder compatabilities and cure characteristics and can be used to enable improved coating properties such as flexibility, heat resistance and chemical resistance.
PHENODUR® grade resins are eco-friendly and high flexibility phenolic resins that can be used for formulating BPA- and BADGE-Non Intended can coatings. These heat curable, non-plasticized phenol-resol resins are part of allnex’s broad portfolio of phenolic resins covering a variety of coating applications and performance requirements.
The latest in epoxy-free powder coating solution for food contact application: CRYLCOAT® E 04324 is a special hydroxylated polyester, NPG free, for use with Poly-anhydride BECKOPOX® EH 694 to produce coatings with high blooming resistance.
Innovation: We are developing a lower OHV version, CRYLCOAT® E 04539, that would allow the formulation of Bisphenol-A free powder coatings as an alternative to liquid epoxy coatings, intended for contact with food and beverage.
Radcure base resins and epoxies are commonly used on the bottom rim of aluminum cans but there has been a recent resurgence in radcure polyester acrylates for metal deco applications. Products like EBECRYL® 548 and EBECRYL® 444 can give the adhesion and toughness required.
In areas where extreme chemical resistance is required at low film thickness, allnex can provide a solution. RESISTHERM® offers a stoving solution with the highest chemical resistance found in the market.
