Allnex announced today the creation of its new Americas Headquarters and Technology Center.
Smyrna, Georgia – September 12, 2013 – Allnex announced today the creation of its new Americas Headquarters and Technology Center. The move from Smyrna, Georgia to Alpharetta, Georgia is one more positive step that newly independent resins and additives company Allnex (formerly Cytec Coating Resins) is taking to strengthen its position worldwide.
The new center will bring the Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, and Research and Development organizations and several functions that support Allnex’s four key business groups - Radcure, Powders, Liquid Coatings and Additives, and Crosslinkers – together under one roof that offers a modern working environment and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
“We are thrilled with our new location in Alpharetta, and are pleased to be able to offer Allnex employees the expanded space needed to work under one roof, fostering teamwork, creativity, innovation, and customer focus,” states Tom Kelly, Americas Vice President for Allnex USA. “This investment also underscores Allnex’s commitment to our Americas business. With this move, we are ensuring that we can provide both our customers and employees with the support they need to maximize their success.”
The move to Alpharetta is providing the opportunity to combine several smaller research laboratories in one central, very modern building and enabling the company to further develop its Allnex brand. In addition, the current locations would have required substantial upgrades to achieve the same goal, while with the new facility, attractive financial incentives will help offset relocation expenses.
“The creation of our new Americas Headquarters and Technology Center is part of Allnex’s strategy to accelerate our growth in key markets and further globalize our business. It is also one more way we are reinforcing our position as a preferred resin supplier,” notes Allnex CEO Frank Aranzana.
Cresa, North America’s leading tenant representation firm, advised Allnex on the relocation and will be coordinating the build-out of the new office and laboratory.
