Exemplifying allnex’s philosophy of providing environmentally friendly and best fit solutions to the market, allnex China launches two new WB acrylic dispersions SETAQUA® DTM 6918 and SETAQUA® DTM 6919, for direct to metal (DTM) applications.
Coatings based on these products emit low/zero VOCs, provide exceptionally high gloss, excellent corrosion resistance for C3 environment and adhesion on different substrates. SETAQUA DTM 6918 and SETAQUA DTM 6919 can provide solutions for metal protection for general industry, construction machinery, transportation etc, while achieving a perfect balance of high performance and cost control.
The two products complement the recently launched SETAQUA DTM 6850 and SETAQUA 6899 providing a complete range of solutions to the market . Coatings formulated with SETAQUA DTM 6850 and SETAQUA DTM 6919 can provide excellent corrosion resistance without the use of corrosion inhibitive pigments – a value appreciated by our customers. Additionally, single-component paints made with these two products are easy to formulate and apply, reducing paint wastage significantly.
On July 9th , allnex received the Ringier Innovation award in China for the outstanding performance and environmental properties of SETAQUA DTM 6919 and SETAQUA DTM 6850. The innovation award is evaluated by a panel of industry and technical experts and is a recognition of significant technological contribution to China’s Coating Industry. The award further establishes allnex as a leader in industrial coating resins.
