Langley, South Carolina, (January 14, 2018) - allnex, the leading supplier of specialty chemicals, offering a broad range of coating resins, additives and crosslinkers for use on wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces, is thrilled to announce our Langley, South Carolina plant has achieved a staggering 25 – yes you read that right – 25 YEARS without a Lost-time Incident (LTI).
At allnex, Safety is one of our core values. Not just safety for our employees and local residents, but also ensuring both a superior environment and energy management system are in place to protect and keep safe the world around us.
In addition to a stellar 25 years without an LTI, the plant is also proud to have four years without a recordable injury either.
As with any manufacturing facility, new products, new trends and new technology means the site has seen a lot of changes over the last 25 years in not just personnel, but equipment, safety measures, protocols and more. To have 25 years without an LTI is a huge testament to the Langley team and their dedication to safety.
