"We are so proud that she won this years’ TAM award, I can’t think of anyone more deserving."
Tanya Niu, Radcure Regional Business Director Americas
It is with great pleasure that we announce one of our own, Dr. Jo Ann Arceneaux has been honored with the TAM (Technical Associate Member) Service Award at this years’ NPIRI event.
The TAM Service Award, given annually at the NPIRI show, is presented to an individual supplier of the printing ink industry, to recognize them as having played a major role in the progress of the industry and its technology.
Jo Ann, who recently celebrated her 30 year anniversary with Allnex, earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University as well as a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Northwestern University. She is also a member of the American Chemical Society and RadTech North America (where she is also a Board member).
“Jo Ann is one of the key players at Allnex and well known by the printing ink industry,” says Tanya Niu, Radcure Regional Business Director Americas. “She really enjoys the challenge of finding solutions to difficult customer problems, as well as seeing a product she developed get launched into the market. We are so proud that she won this years’ TAM award, I can’t think of anyone more deserving.
As a 30 year veteran with Allnex, Jo Ann has seen many changes in the chemical industry. “I think the biggest change has been moving from a technology-driven industry to a market-driven industry. In the early years of my career, it was relatively easy to develop new products, and customers were eager to evaluate them. Today, market needs, potentials and beta-customers are fully vetted before product development is started. Of course some things have not changed. After 30 years, I continue to have challenges, and I am still having fun.”
Thank you to Jo Ann for her dedication to her craft, and congrats again on the TAM 2016 Award!
