Dr. Jo Ann Arceneaux, Manager of Technical Service and Business Development
Alpharetta, GA. (January 16, 2019) – We are thrilled to report our very own Dr. Jo Ann Arceneaux has been chosen as President-Elect of RadTech International North America.
RadTech is the association for ultraviolet and electron beam technologies (UV+EB), and is dedicated to promoting the usage and development of UV & EB processing in the industry.
Jo Ann has been with allnex for over 30 years, and is thrilled to be elected as incoming president-elect.
“I’m really looking forward to this new challenge,” says Jo Ann, “We have such a great group on the RadTech board and to be able to pull in all the knowledge and experience of the team is such an honor.”
Jo Ann is a Manager of Technical Service and Business Development at allnex, and is primarily responsible for providing technical service and support to the Radcure business unit of allnex, including both customers and the sales organization, and for offering technical leadership to the New Business Development market segment for Radcure. She has been a RadTech Board Member since 2015, and a Co-Chair of the UV-LED Committee since 2012. In addition, she has been a contributor to the RadTech Printer’s Guide since 2007, and was an active member of the Food Packaging Contact Alliance from 2002-2008, which resulted in the filing of FCN 772.
Finally, Jo Ann has been a frequent contributor to RadTech via papers, presentations, and as a session chair/organizer since the 1990’s. More recently, her contributions have been in the area of UV-LED cure and UV waterbased resins for inkjet applications.
About Jo Ann: Originally from Raceland, Louisiana, Jo Ann earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University as well as a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Northwestern University. At allnex, she has held such positions as Global Technical Manager of New Business Development, Manager of the Graphics Technical Service and Development Lab for Radcure in the Americas and Manager of Research, Radcure Technologies. Besides being President-Elect of RadTech, she is also a member of the American Chemical Society, and has taught the “Energy Curable Paste Inks” portion of the NPIRI Summer Course for many years.
