Our most recent addition to our range of cost-effective binders, UCECOAT® 2501 acts as a Tin-, VOC-free aliphatic “Building Block” for waterborne UV formulations.
As a standalone, this milky-white product shows good overall properties for a UV PUD of this price range, especially for coffee and chemical resistance in clear applications, as well as adhesion and wood wetting. UCECOAT 2501 offers outstanding compatibility with waterborne acrylics and hybrids available on the market, allowing formulators to upgrade the performance of their acrylic based paints.
It is an excellent blending partner for higher performance UV PUDs.
UCECOAT® 2501 was primarily aimed at applications such as wood and furniture, and it adheres well to a wide variety of rigid plastic substrates and glass.
