Alpharetta, GA. (January 16, 2017) – allnex is proud to announce they have released UCECRYL® B 3033, a waterbased acrylic resin developed primarily for the Low VOC Concrete Sealer market.
Developed by allnex chemists, the UCECRYL B 3033 is a novel resin crafted to allow coatings producers to formulate next generation 1K Concrete Sealers that meet or exceed national VOC standards, while ensuring performance remains consistent.
“We saw a need in the market, which is why we were interested in creating the UCECRYL B 3033 product,” says Tim Kittler, Global Marketing Manager, LRA Americas, allnex. “Although existing products perform adequately below the current 250 g/l and 100 g/l VOC limitations, we felt that each product had some aspects that could be easily improved upon. It paid off: our scientists have designed a resin that allows formulators to achieve a less than 100 g/L product that exceeds the performance of current products while hitting the lowest possible VOC target.”
In addition to concrete floors, the UCECRYL B 3033 is also excellent on garage floors, pavers, porches, stamped concrete and brick.
