SETYRENE™ 53-2434

SETYRENE 53-2434 is the exempt solvent version of 13-2434. It is an alkyd resin that has been copolymerized with vinyl toluene to produce a very rapid drying product. Coatings based on SETYRENE 53-2434 have light color and good color retention. It may be blended with medium oil alkyds at a rate not to exceed 20% of the vehicle solids to significantly accelerate drying rates.
