allnex Additives Utilizes Molecular Modeling to Advance Product Development

28 февраля 2025 г Innovation
Alpharetta, GA (2/28/2025) allnex, a global leader in industrial coating resins and additives, is pleased to announce we are using Molecular Modeling in Additive development to save costs and accelerate time to market.

Our R&D department uses molecular modeling to simulate and analyze molecular structures, their interactions and behaviors. This gives the advantage of predicting properties and outcomes of experiments on different complexity levels in a shorter timeframe.

At allnex, we use Physics-based molecular modeling in three steps:

  1. Build – to construct and design complex systems
  2. Simulate – to model molecular interactions in the system
  3. Analyze – View and interpret outputs to guide our decision making

The goal of our R&D scientists is to use Molecular Modeling to understand how our Additives work and generate viable options of building new technologies.  For our customers, this offers the advantage of rapidly developing products that provide improved performance properties, enhanced durability, have multifunctionality and an optimized formulation.

We invite you to contact us if you would like to know more about our additive portfolio or request a sample.
