ADDITOL® XL 6597

ADDITOL® XL 6597 is a solution of defoaming polymers without silicone. It is a strong defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. \nIt is very efficient in polar solvent-borne paints, while its slightly lower efficient in non-polar systems. It is higher in efficiency and less compatible than ADDITOL® XL 6531.\n\nSuggested applications are:\n \n- TPA \n- Alkyd\n- Nitrocellulose paint\n- Acid-cured wood finishes \n- Two-component polyurethane paints\n- Epoxy resin systems, \n- Unsaturated polyester systems and gel coats \n- Melamine cured APO / PE systems \n \nDue to its high efficiency it is important to check its impact on transparency in clear coats as well as crater formation\n
