EBECRYL® 6008/30 CBO

EBECRYL® 6008/30 CBO is a biobased modified diacrylate ester of bisphenol A epoxy resin. Product has been reviewed against IKEA “Renewable and recycled raw material guide for coatings, coverings and furniture glues for wood, wood based and wood like natural materials” (no. 1 Version 4, date: 2023-08-21) with confirmed biobased content to be ~20%. For this biobased content feedstocks and its origins are known and meets the requirements of above-mentioned guideline. This product is characterized by light color, fast cure and improved pigment wetting. Films of EBECRYL® 6008/30 CBO cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit high gloss and surface hardness with the excellent solvent resistance typical of an epoxy resin. EBECRYL® 6008/30 CBO finds broad usage in UV/EB applications, such as coatings, inks and overprint varnishes.
