Elimination of PFAs in Additives by end 2024

Alpharetta, GA. – Dec 4, 2024. allnex, a global leader in industrial coating resins and additives, is reaffirming the commitment made previously to remove PFAS in their Additives products by the end of 2024.

The program - started over 18 months ago - has been working with global customers to design replacement and reformulation strategies. As proof to allnex' commitment to Sustainability we are proud to say we have achieved our target ahead of schedule!
 
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of manmade chemicals used since the 1950’s that are resistant to oil, water, and heat and don’t break down easily in the environment. They are prevalent in many consumer and industrial products including carpeting, waterproof clothing, food packaging, personal care products, fire-fighting foams, metal plating, paints, cleaning products, microelectronics, batteries and  many other products.
