The award recognizes allnex’s breakthrough in sustainable SCA technology, which reduces the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) by 16% to 32%, addressing the automotive industry’s urgent demand for eco-friendly solutions.
 
The Mass Balance SCA replaces fossil-based raw materials with certified bio-based alternatives using a mass balance approach, maintaining high performance while significantly lowering environmental impact. Key innovations include:
 
  • SETAL® 90173 SS-50 BC – Reduces PCF by 23% compared to conventional SCA.
  • SETAL® 90173 SS-50 BC14 – Balances cost efficiency with carbon footprint reduction.
