Our allnex chemists recognized the need for a more sustainable resin using rPET (Recycled PET) as a starting raw material instead of Terephthalic Acid as used in the conventional polymer production for the swimming pool industry.

The result is the POLYPLEX™ 200E WHITE LSE RESIN, answering the market needs and aligning allnex sustainability objectives with the potential for a significant increase in the volume of rPET conversion in the manufacture of these resins.  POLYPLEX™ 200E resin will contain the equivalent of 750 recycled plastic bottles per drum or 3.3 bottles per kg of resin therefore reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability.
