INNOVATIVE CHEMISTRY FOR ALL NEX>T GENERATIONS

AUTOMOTIVE & TRANSPORTATION

SETALUX® 61230 BA-60
is specifically  designed to be compatible with fast-drying and low-temperature drying clearcoats. With this SCA you will achieve very stable paint formulations with strong rheological power resulting in high anti-sag properties. Benefits include saving time and energy as needed for post-application corrections, while still maintaining the good drying/pot-life balance, hardness, gloss and appearance of typical fast-drying clearcoats.
 
CYMEL® NF 2264 / 87 WA
is our new waterborne, formaldehyde-free trifunctional melamine-based crosslinker with reactive carbamate functionality, designed for low-VOC, high-quality durable coatings. In addition, due to its excellent adhesion on various substrates it can be employed in a range of end-uses like Automotive OEM, glass coatings, can coatings and more.

GENERAL INDUSTRY & METAL

SETAL® FC 841 XX-70
is one of our newest additions to the allnex Fast Cure (FC) portfolio. This novel short oil alkyd enables much faster drying with alifatic isocyanates and very long working times and potlife, leading to best-in-class appearance topcoats.
 
BECKOCURE® EH 2270w/50WA
is one of our new waterborne polyamine adduct hardeners designed to provide excellent corrosion protection on sandblasted steel and on sandblasted aluminium. Furthermore, this hardener was optimized for an outstanding performance in the acetic acid salt spray (AASS) test on aluminium making it the preferred choice for the formulation of WB 2K epoxy primers used on rail cars.
 
BECKOCURE® EH 2250w/41WA
is a new waterborne polyamine adduct hardener which combines quick drying properties with high corrosion performance on different substrates like sandblasted steel and sandblasted aluminium. This solvent-free hardener enables the formulation of very low VOC primers which are characterized by easy overcoat ability with different topcoat systems.

INDUSTRIAL WOOD

UCECOAT® 7680
leverages UV/EB technology combined with excimer to deliver ultra-low gloss coatings with high performance. This technology, already well-established in industrial wood applications especially for 100% UV/EB roller coatings, is now extended to WB UV spray applications. UCECOAT® 7680 is an easy-to-use dispersion that achieves very low gloss levels without the need for matting agents, offering excellent performance and a unique excimer haptic.


allnex expands its WB UV range with UCECOAT® 7997
which combines Better Carbon content with ease of use and fast drying properties. UCECOAT® 7997 is a versatile, low-viscosity, high-performance energy-curable polyurethane dispersion made from renewable feedstocks. It serves as a binder for both clear and pigmented coatings, boasting a Better Carbon content of approximately 39%, with around 15% bio carbon certified by ASTM D6866. The remaining content is derived from a mix of Mass Balance and recycled monomers. Additionally, it is solvent-free, APEO-free, and free from intentionally added organic tin compounds, ensuring regulatory compliance.


EBECRYL® 1900
is a new melamine-functional polyester acrylate designed for furniture paper foils (LPL, HPL, and CPL). It enhances the adhesion of 100% UV/EB coatings on melamine-impregnated paper. EBECRYL® 1900 is free from intentionally added organic tin compounds and features a remarkably low residual formaldehyde content (<0.1%).

New amine hardeners for high performance waterborne 2K epoxy primers no more pain in the AASS

allnex introduces a new waterborne polyamine adduct hardener which has been optimized for an outstanding performance in the acetic acid salt spray test (AASS) on different aluminum alloys as typically used in the construction of railway passenger cars. This hardener can be used together with well-established and already railway-proven epoxy dispersions to obtain the required protection on sandblasted aluminum and on sandblasted steel as confirmed by our test results according DBS 918300, Blatt 2 and Blatt 42.
A second newly developed waterborne hardener is mainly intended for the formulation of waterborne 2-component epoxy/amine metal primers where a combination of fast cure and excellent corrosion performance is desired.
