allnex Introduces Outstanding Product for Cosmetic Packaging, Consumer Electronics and Resilient Flooring Markets

allnex, the leading supplier of specialty chemicals, offering a broad range of resins including those for powders, UV cure, additives and crosslinkers for use on wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces, is announcing the launch of its latest addition to the EBECRYL® line, the EBECRYL® 5130.

The EBECRYL 5130 has been created by allnex chemists as a low viscosity, high performance hexafunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate designed for high solid or 100% solid coating systems, clear coats and pigmented topcoats used in the vacuum metallization layer of cosmetic packaging, consumer electronics, and resilient flooring.

When used in pigmented topcoat systems, the coating demonstrates excellent leveling and pigment wetting, as well as outstanding abrasion and hot water resistances. Its fast curing speed in pigmented systems (black, blue, red, yellow, etc.) also presents an additional benefit in the processing step. These performance attributes also make it an ideal partner in Excimer Curing applications for a wide range of substrates.
