allnex, a global leader in industrial coating resins, today signed several long-term strategic agreements with market leaders in China’s coating industry at the 2nd CIIE. The focused agreements reflected the determination of allnex in developing high-performance coating products and innovative solutions hand-in-hand with partners across the value chain, to better serve the China market and lead the China coating industry towards a more sustainable future.
The signing ceremony took place during the 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) held Nov 5~10, 2019, in Shanghai. CIIE is the world’s first national level exhibition focusing on imports, aiming at creating new opportunities for enterprises from around the world, while strengthening economic cooperation and trade.
Considered as a strong and reliable partner of China's coating industry for its being a leading player in environmental-friendly coating resins, allnex took advantage of CIIE to deepen its relationships with leading Chinese coating firms providing innovative, advanced and ecological solutions. Members of the Executive Management Team including Miguel Mantas, allnex Global CEO, Dr. Joe Zou, Vice President of allnex Global and President of allnex Greater China and leaders from other business units in China attended the signing ceremony.
At the ceremony, three five-year strategic cooperation and sales agreements were signed with COSCO Kansai Paint & Chemicals Co., Ltd, one of the top companies in China’s coating industry, and Huangshan Huajia Surface Technology Co., Ltd, one of the China’s first suppliers of powder coating. Senior executives from the three companies attended the ceremony. Honoured guests included Wang Juren, Managing Director of COSCO Kansai, Liu Huicheng, Vice President of COSCO Kansai, and Wang Zhifei, General Manager of Huangshan Huajia Surface Technology.
Promoting a healthy and well-collected industrial chain, allnex strives to extend across leading companies from downstream and upstream to bridge performance and sustainability. In so doing, allnex also signed an open-ended purchasing agreement at the show with Dow Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
