Stunning News on Injuries at allnex Willow Island Site

FRANKFURT, (June 19, 2017) - allnex, a leading supplier of specialty chemicals, offering a broad range of resins, additives and crosslinkers for use on wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces, released some stunning news in March regarding the Lost Time Injuries sustained at the Willow Island plant over the last ten years.

There were none. As in Zero. Zilch. Nada.

This amazing accomplishment of no Lost Time Injuries in ten years is a direct result of the Team’s constant diligence to Health and Safety. This success is proof that the team is committed to creating a Safe and Healthy work environment for everyone involved. Although allnex Willow Island itself achieved this, the kudos goes to each and every single employee at the site for making it happen.

“We are proud of everyone’s contribution to this important Safety Milestone,” commented Gus Barbarito, allnex Site Manager. “Many companies around the world count days since their last Lost Time Incident. At Willow Island, we are fortunate enough to count years. Counting years is a testament to our Team, their work practices, and their commitment to working Safe every day.”

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the average for the organic chemical manufacturing industry is 1 Lost Time Injury per year. At zero for 10 years, one can see the allnex Willow Island plant is way ahead of the curve!

Congrats to the Willow Island team for a job well done!
